Sid lives here.
Sid Dickens is a Canadian artist whose Memory Blocks are small plaster tiles, cast, painted and aged by hand, so no two are alike. His new Autumn 2026 collection has just landed. Scarlet Bramble, Azure Promise and Chopin are on the wall now, and the rest can be ordered in store or online.
“The Noble Steed was the first one I unpacked this season and I didn’t want to put it down. Calm, strong and a little bit magical.” — Lou
Start your own wall
Every block is cast, painted and aged by hand, so yours will be one of a kind.
There's a hidden hole on the back. One small nail and it sits flat to the wall.
Group them in rows or a loose cluster. Designs retire over time, so build your wall while you can.

Come and say hello
I'm Lou. I opened Hudson Belle in 2018 and you'll usually find me behind the counter. I fell for Sid Dickens the first time I held a block, and I’ve been filling walls with them ever since.

A little shop.A world of delights.
Dark walls, warm light and a wall of Sid Dickens you can lose an hour to. Small, hand-picked and never in a hurry.
A shop with history
The Piece Hall opens as a cloth hall, where handloom weavers sold their "pieces" of woollen cloth.
One of the finest Georgian buildings in the country, and the only one of its kind left standing.
Restored and reopened. Today its old merchant rooms are home to independent shops, Hudson Belle among them.
